Cala Llonga

Cala Llonga is a brilliant family resort and you will probably find most things you need here.

The highlight is the large, sandy, blue-flag beach. Catering for both tourists and locals, the beach is one of Ibiza’s largest, stretching across 200m. The sea floor gently slopes down and it is very sheltered, making it a good introduction to sea-swimming. There are showers on the beach, and a lovely children’s play-area.

Set amongst pine forests, local legend has it that Cala Llonga was once a smugglers’ cove – something that may capture the imagination of the younger visitors!

The town also has a wide selection of bars, cafés and restaurants, as well as plenty of facilities, including supermarkets, cash-points, post-boxes, a chemist and doctor.

Please be aware that you will need to travel slightly further to find a bank, petrol or a post-office. The nearest large town is Santa Eulalia, which is around 10 minutes away by car. Alternatively, you can catch a ferry there.
